CIMO forestry software becomes intellectual property

Three new pieces of software developed by CIMO researchers have been successfully registered as intellectual property. The registered products are FlorNExT 1.0, FlorNExT PRO 1.0 and WRoute 1.0., tools conceived to support forest management and planning in Northeastern Portugal as well as to promote knowledge transfer in forestry in the region. These tools were conceived and developed by Fernando Pérez-Rodríguez, Luís Nunes, Ângelo Sil and João Azevedo under the European project SIMWOOD.
