Alfândega da Fé possui uma diáspora significativa espalhada pelo mundo, especialmente na Europa e na América, que mantém laços emocionais com a terra, mas investe pouco localmente. Muitos imigrantes e emigrantes mostram interesse em aplicar capital na região, mas enfrentam obstáculos como falta de informação estruturada, burocracia complexa e incerteza sobre o retorno do investimento. Ao mesmo tempo, o concelho necessita de investimento significativo, disponível no mercado internacional, para potenciar novos negócios que vão dinamizar a economia e criar emprego.

Context:

Alfândega da Fé has a significant diaspora spread worldwide, especially in Europe and America, which maintains emotional ties to the land but invests little locally. Many immigrants and emigrants are interested in investing capital in the region but face obstacles such as a lack of structured information, complex bureaucracy, and uncertainty about the return on investment. At the same time, the municipality needs significant investment, available on the international market, to boost new businesses that will energise the economy and create jobs.
